The Persian community in Toronto has grown well beyond what is known as the Iranian Plaza along Yonge Street in North York, Ontario. The neighbourhood has transformed into one of the most vibrant and dynamic districts of GTA known as the “Little Persia”.
If you're looking for a taste of exotic Persian food and culture in Canada, look no further than this Iranian neighbourhood right in the heart of Yonge Street. It is renowned for its well known cafes, authentic restaurants, shops and distinctive services. This is where you will find anything from pomegranate and pistachio to saffron ice-cream and rosewater!
This platform is the result of many months of research, planning and development. We wanted to build a unique website that would fit the demand of the Persian community as well as those interested in exploring the Iranian rich culture, art and cuisines, but are a little shy or perhaps don't know where to start. This is where your journey to discover Iran begins.
